It's been WELL over a month since I have posted but life has been a little crazy to say the least! Our little man is WALKING!! I'll post a video but he took his official first step on May 13th at 9 1/2 months! I was so excited but totally bummed I didn't get it on camera! Now he has picked it up super fast and is taking 4-5 steps at a time. Freaking me out!!! He has been walking around furniture and pushing his toys all around the apartment so I knew it was only a matter of time but I feel like it's so early!! Still no talking yet although my friend Alex and I are pretty sure we heard him say "Mama" the other day when we were walking around IKEA. I could only hope! :) Sometimes when Jake comes home he will say "DA!" When he walks in, we can't figure out if he's trying to say "Da Da" or if that's just his favorite sound! haha Either way he is quite the babbler.
Other updates: Wedding...I am the proud owner of my wedding dress now! It's in the closet, watching me! haha We are waiting on Alex's sister to move so we can set a date but we are thinking March or October of next year. (Before and after it gets hot!) It's going to be pretty crazy because my two best friends are marrying each other in May and I am the Maid of Honor. It will be fun though!
School update: I will officially have my associates after ONE more class. It's the "how to teach kids math" class and there are two of them. I'll actually be taking it my first semester of NAU but it's okay! It ends in September and I will be the proud owner of an AA degree! YES! Another accomplishment....straight A's this semester...4.0 baby. NEVER thought I would ever hear myself say that. I was worried that this semester was going to be harder because Aiden is more mobile but we did it! I'm so excited and relieved that half of my school journey is over! (Well for my bachelors at least!) Speaking of graduating, my baby brother, who isn't so baby anymore apparently, is graduating from high school this week!!!!!!!!
In other news, Aiden is HUGE! He is 31 inches!!! The size of an average 14 month old and it shows! He's the sweetest little boy and has such a personality. We are hopefully moving into a bigger apartment in a few months and it is MUCH needed. Our living room is FILLED with Aiden toys! haha
