The one about everything random!

The last few days have been quite random. Last Saturday we hung out with our friends Bobby and Natasha (the ones having a baby) and we helped them make their registry at Buy buy baby and target. Then we made dinner at our house and watched movies.

Natasha and I have officially mastered the Moby wrap and even mastered putting it on someone else, example A:

DADDY!

Sunday we went to my church festival. We used to go every year and I thought it was really funny seeing what we used to get so excited over. I went to school there and so I saw some old teachers who of course fussed over Aiden.

We had a pretty good weekend but it was quite random. We also bought Aiden a new toy for the bath tub, he thinks its the greatest. Its a star and as you can see in the pictures it glows and when it gets enough water in it, it sprinkles water out the top. He thinks its pretty awesome.

More random? Yesterday Aiden didn't take a good nap because we were watching Anna-Maria again and he doesn't sleep well at other places. When we got home I had to go right to school so Daddy watched him. He said that he put him in his bouncer just to see what he would do. Aiden started playing with his toy and the next thing he knew..................

I came home to my sweet boy crashed out in his too small bouncer. Something he never really liked when he was smaller, put him to sleep at almost 9 months old! I had to take a picture!

The one about NAU!

I finally got my acceptance letter into the education program. I had already been accepted into the school itself, I was just waiting to see if I was accepted into the individual program. I was so excited when I got the letter and it was so much stress off the shoulders!

The one about his first friend

Aiden made his first friend yesterday. I know it's sad that he really hasn't been around other kids and he is 8 months old but the truth is, I don't really have any friends with kids. He did AWESOME, she is about a month older than him so they were both crawling and pulling themselves up on everything. He would follow her everywhere she went. Anna-Maria's mom and I went out to lunch with Kristen and we sat them across the table from each other, they babbled back and forth giggled. Pretty much the most adorable thing ever.

The one about the "youtube" guys

I have found my new youtube obsession. You know how they always say that there is hidden talent out there. (Well they might not ALWAYS say that but Ellen sure seems to always find them!)

Well, I have found my favorite group, they are two guys that mostly do covers of songs but I LOVE it. Their videos are also very entertaining. Why you may ask? Well how about you watch one, and pay close attention to the background! :)

The one about food

Our little guy LOVES his food. Right now he eats about 2-3 times a day depending on how hungry he is. I would say we have quite a stock pile of food.

 He also loves eating puffs. I think they are his favorite thing because he can feed himself those. When I get them out and shake the container he gets so excited.

The one about swimming

Aiden went swimming for the first time last weekend. I was thrilled to finally get him in the pool because he likes LOVES bath time. We went to the Phonecian with a few friends, they have heated pools so the water wasn't cold, I was thrilled about that because I am not a fan of cold water!

The day before going I of course headed over the Target and bought him his first bathing suit!! I also bought him a swim shirt that has SPF built into it. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

They had an awesome jacuzzi with water that shot out the top, we sat Aiden on top of it and he thought it was the greatest thing. The kiddy pool was also really shallow and Aiden could stand in the water.

 

We of course also had to take a family picture! I'm glad Aiden loved the pool as much as I was expecting him to, I think we're in for an awesome summer!

Wedding plans

To update on the wedding! I have decided how I want my hair, even though it's never really been a question in my mind. I have always hated my hair in "up-do's." I want my hair down and curled, something like this:

I have also been spending time with my sisters best friend Anne ( the interior designer) and trying to figure out what kind of centerpieces I want to do. The fact is I would rather have candles than flowers. We realized that this actually works to my advantage because candles are also cheaper!

We have a lot of planning left to do but we'll get there. I already have my dress, now we just need to plan the wedding! :)

New blog

We decided to start a new blog! I have been wanting to start a blog and post a picture or two of Aiden everyday for one year. Hopefully it's something that I can keep up.
